Hi everyone,
If you're reading this for the first time:
I used to be very active on DA. I don't have any plans to leave DA behind but I am not sure how to make more time for it as well at the moment.
Right now, I work as a freelance journalist, editor and writer and I have a website at http://www.marisa.com.au . I also take photographs on occasion that I post at http://lightrefraction.wordpress.com .
In addition to all this and the work I do for clients, I also spend time volunteering for organisations such as the Society of Editors (WA) Inc. Plus I have to finish my stupid book.

I have forgotten a lot of things.
* I am still studying - I am doing Honours right now.
* I still live in Australia.
* I still take photographs. http://lightrefraction.wordpress.com At this point I don't know if I will upload them on DA. Check them out and tell me your thoughts.
* I still write. I have a novel I am going to be working on after I finish this year and this thesis.
* I want to apologize to people I used to know on DA - I join a lot of forums/sites etc online and then real life gets in my way.

It's October 2005.
I am in Perth, Australia, currently very busy with my college education.
I am taking pictures and I am still writing but I rarely have the time to chat to people or upload my work up here. If you see me lurking around here, I am browsing. You might get one or two things every so often but don't expect it. The only time I do stuff online nowadays is for research, work, email or my website. I am sorry about this, hopefully things will change and I will have more free time and/or inspiration.
Part of the reason is that DA doesn't really work unless you strive to be popular -something I never really liked or wanted to do. I
